Privacy information
This notice describes how One+i handles personal information for this website and related enquiries.
Last updated: July 2026
Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to One+i’s public website, contact forms, consultation booking, and related communications. It is intended as a practical privacy notice for a Canadian private-sector consultancy and is not a substitute for legal advice.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a consultation, we may collect your name, work email, organization, contact reason, message, booking details, and information you choose to include. We may also collect basic technical information needed to secure and operate the website, such as browser, device, approximate location, timestamps, and security or anti-spam signals.
Why we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, schedule and conduct consultations, prepare proposals, provide services, maintain business records, improve the website, prevent abuse, and meet legal or professional obligations. We do not use enquiry information for unrelated marketing without appropriate consent.
Consent and meaningful choices
We seek meaningful consent where required and limit collection, use, and disclosure to reasonable purposes. You may decline to provide optional information, although we may be unable to respond fully or arrange a consultation without information needed for that purpose. You may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual limits by contacting us.
Service providers and disclosures
We may use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, scheduling, email delivery, security, analytics, and media storage. They receive only information needed for the service and may process information in Canada or other jurisdictions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a permitted business transaction.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. Website enquiries are intended to be retained for up to three months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement, legal requirement, or documented business record. Secure deletion or anonymization follows when information is no longer required.
Safeguards and incidents
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, secure hosting, least-privilege administration, encryption in transit, and monitoring. If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will assess it, take steps to contain and remediate it, notify affected individuals and regulators where required, and keep required records.
Access, correction, and questions
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask how it is used or disclosed, or raise a privacy concern. We will verify the requestor’s identity, respond within the time required by applicable law, and explain any permitted limitation or refusal.
Privacy contact
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or complaints, contact contact@oneplusi.io. If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable.
Cookies, analytics, and external links
We use essential browser storage to keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics or similar tools are disabled unless you choose “Allow optional” in the consent notice. You can decline optional cookies without losing access to the site. External services, including scheduling and email providers, have their own privacy practices.
